Elder Care Excellence

Transforming aged care through Australian excellence and Montessori.

We work with aged care providers worldwide to deliver training, environment design, and consultancy focused on dignity and purpose.

Our unique approach.

Elder Care Excellence International was founded on a simple belief: every older person deserves care that honours their dignity, respects their individuality, and supports their independence and wellbeing.

Australian expertise

We bring deep knowledge of Australian aged care quality and compliance, applying proven standards to improve care delivery in diverse settings.

Montessori principles

We apply Montessori principles adapted specifically for older adults, supporting autonomy, engagement, and meaningful daily life.

Person-centred care

We focus on care that recognises ability rather than disability, supporting dignity, independence, and individual strengths.

Global perspective

We work internationally with sensitivity to local cultures, regulations, and care practices, ensuring our approach fits each context

Bringing Australian aged care excellence to the world through person-centred care.

Drawing on Australia's internationally recognised aged care standards and the time-tested Montessori philosophy, we help organisations worldwide transform their approach to elder care—from staff training to environment design to operational excellence.

Training

Building tomorrow’s aged care workforce.

Quality care begins with quality training. Our bespoke aged care training programs equip your team—from entry-level care workers to senior management—with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional person-centred Montessori-based care. Our training is:

  • Grounded in Montessori principles
  • Adapted to Australian best-practice standards
  • Specialised modules for dementia care
  • Practical and hands-on, with immediate application
  • Culturally adaptable for international teams

Aged Care Environment Consultancy

Creating environments where people flourish.

We help design Montessori-inspired care environments that support dignity, independence, and quality of life, especially for people living with dementia. We work with:

  • Existing facilities, improving day centres and long-term care homes
  • New builds, integrating best-practice dementia care design
  • All settings, ensuring the environment supports your care philosophy

Our approach considers layout, lighting, colour, furniture, sensory elements, and activity spaces to reduce confusion, support independence, and enhance wellbeing.

Business consultancy

Establish sustainable Montessori care services.

Our business consultancy guides you through the complex process of establishing and operationalising aged care services that are both high-quality and financially sustainable. We assist with:

  • Business planning and service model development
  • Regulatory compliance and quality frameworks
  • Community infrastructure and partnership development
  • Operational systems and workflow design
